Kellogg's Corporate Citizenship Fund Deploys Breakfasts For Better Days Disaster Relief Team In Colorado

Kellogg’s Corporate Citizenship Fund, the charitable arm of Kellogg Company, is deploying its Breakfasts for Better Days™ disaster relief team to provide food assistance to recovery workers and people living in the 17-county area impacted by the devastating Colorado floods.

Because the destruction is so widespread, the team is making stops throughout the hardest hit areas, distributing 1 million servings of cereal and snacks. Kellogg products are also being delivered to food pantries in partnership with Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity, and other areas where relief services will be needed in the coming weeks and months as Colorado recovers from the disaster.

The Colorado disaster relief effort is part of the company’s Breakfasts for Better DaysTM commitment to provide 1 billion servings of cereal and snacks, more than half of which are breakfast, to those who need it most by 2016. The company also deployed its disaster relief team in May, in response to the tornado in Moore, Okla.
